This kit fits your Nordic Cab Explorer thats 2012 or newer and Hiking/Ski kit.
The harness is made of durable material and designed with the least possible strain on the dog when pulling a Nordic Cab sled or cart.
There are many recommendations regarding the dog’s leash. If you are unsure, please confirm with your vet. A general recommendation we have received is:
- A well-trained dog can pull three times its own weight.
- It is very important that the cargo/weight is positioned in the cart so that it creates the least possible weight on the dog.
- Always keep the dog on a leash for control and safety.
- Practice with the dog several times with an empty cart, until you and the dog are comfortable with the cart. A few dogs don’t like this at all and some will like this with a little practice and some are made to do this.
