Absolutely! The Nordic Cab is designed to comfortably accommodate one child when needed.
For optimal comfort, you can:
- Place the child on the right-hand side (in the direction of travel).
- Adjust the harness and cushion to center the child for better balance and comfort.
We do not offer a single-child model because the EU safety standard for bike trailers requires a minimum width of 75 cm between the tires to prevent tipping. The Nordic Cab is 78 cm wide, offering excellent stability while remaining compact. The difference between a single- and double-width trailer would be minimal, so our design prioritizes versatility for families.
Whether you’re using the Nordic Cab as a bike trailer, ski sled / pulk, or stroller, it’s perfectly suited for one child or two, providing comfort and safety in any setup.
