Hi!
I am a woman in the prime of my life. I live in the Swedish county of Värmland, and in recent years I have begun to realise how much I enjoy challenging myself.
I am married and am the mother of 3 grown-up boys, as well as the grandmother of 14-month-old Malve, who is due to become a big brother in April.
I enjoy running long distances, and to date the longest distance I have completed is 250 km.
My husband and I like to go mountain biking and hiking in the woods.
I love spending time in the forest – nothing makes me feel better than being in the great outdoors!
Together with my Nordic Cab Explorer, I will be setting out on an Ultra Adventure with 2 friends this summer.
On the 7th of June we will begin a 640 km run around Sweden’s largest lake, Vänern.
Our plan is to simply let the run take as long as necessary – the main aim is to have a great experience, with loads of fun along the way!
That said, we hope to complete the run in around 5-6 days…
The Nordic Cab Explorer will be a huge help, as we will be completely self-sufficient during the run and must be able to take a tent and various other supplies with us.
To get my body used to running with the Explorer, I will be using it as much as possible between now and then, including in everyday life.
Taking Malve out for a stroll, walking/running to the store when it’s time to do the shopping, etc.
I am extremely impressed by the Explorer 6-in-1! It provides a fantastic array of functions, and nothing feels impossible any more I am really looking forward to many wonderful adventures together with The Cab!
