Maintenance of your Nordic Cab is important to keep it running for many years. Here we list the most important parts to maintain.
Wheels
Regularly clean and lubricate the axle bolts. Make sure that straps or other loose parts cannot get tangled in the wheel.
Bicycle hitch/coupling
Check the bike attachment, hydraulic hose, and bicycle coupling for wear and damage. Lubricate with silicone grease, lithium grease, or similar on both the metal tip and transitions. Replace immediately if damage or significant wear is visible.
Canopy
If cleaning is necessary, wash with mild soap and cold water. Do not use strong detergents. Tears and holes in the canopy can be dangerous for children and should be repaired immediately. During long-term storage, the canopy should not be exposed to direct sunlight. It is recommended to disassemble the stroller, pack all parts in the bottom box, and cover the box with a cargo cover (available as an accessory). The Explorer has a removable canopy that slides in aluminum rails, making it easier to clean the canopy.
Seat covers/seat cushions
Wash with mild soap and water. Do not use a dryer. Sometimes things wear out and need to be replaced, and we have spare parts for Nordic Cab. Or if you are missing any accessories, with the right accessories, there are many uses for your Explorer.
