Important for 12mm Thru Axles
Before you install the new axle adapter, you must compare the length and threads. It is especially important that the threads match. Installing an axle with incorrect threading can damage your bike.
Some axle adapters come with included washers for different lengths. Remove or add these to ensure the length matches your axle (+/- 2mm).
