Thru Axle Adapter for 12mm Thru Axles – High-Quality Selection
The function of the Nordic Cab thru axle adapter is to allow the attachment of a bike trailer hitch to your bike. Without this type of adapter, it’s simply not possible to attach a bike trailer to bikes with 12mm thru axles. We specialize in delivering the highest quality adapters that perfectly meet your needs.
Finding the Right Adapter
To find the correct axle, you need to know the length and thread pitch. We recommend removing the axle from your bike. Often, this information is specified on the axle itself.
Example = FL 1830
Width: 12mm (0,47 inches) (all are 12mm wide)
Length: 160mm (6.30 inches)
Thread pitch: 1.0mm (0.039 inches)
If this information is not visible, we suggest printing out this measurement guide in actual size. Place your bike’s axle on the sheet to measure the length and thread pitch.

The axles come with adapter washers for different lengths and axle heads. Remove and add adapter washers until you achieve the same length as the original axle.
Note: Axle lengths are compatible within +/- 2mm (0.079 inches).

Before installing the new axle adapter, compare the length and threads. It’s especially important that the threads match. Installing an axle with incorrect threading can damage your bike.
