Wide tyres with air-cushioning (balloon tyres) provide excellent cushioning, especially when used with bike trailers.
The tyre must be filled to around 2 bar (30psi). The tyres roll extremely easily with a fully cushioning effect. An ordinary tyre with a width of 37 mm must be filled to 4 bar (twice the pressure) to roll as well.
