Comfort
Unique comfort
The seat in the Nordic Cab sled can be adjusted from upright to flat position. This provides great comfort and flexibility for the child, either it is awake, asleep or relaxing.

Seat can be centred
If there is only one child in the sled, the harness can be centred. This allows the child more room.

Due to the low centre of gravity and the distance between the skis, the sled is one of the most stable sleds on the market.

Above the snow

Protection against wind and snow
The child in an Nordic Cab sled is well-protected inside the cab. The child is not directly affected by snow or wind, which is often the greatest risk on trips.
There’s plenty of ventilation in the sled and good adjustment options. If it’s a nice and warm Easter day, it can be completely open if you prefer.
Practical
Easy in and out
The front is easily opened with a zipper. It’s easy to reach the child, and it’s easy for older children to get in and out of the sled themselves.
Attachment for children´s skis
The Explorer sled includes straps to attach children’s skis on the side of the sled. This makes it easy to combine skiing some of the trip and relaxing in the sled enjoying the ride. This combination also makes it easier to take longer skiing trips than one would if the children had to ski the whole way themselves.
Interior space
There’s plenty of space inside the Nordic Cab sled. From the bottom of the seat to the roof there’s a huge 71cm. This means that you can have children up to the age of around 6 in the sled.
The sled collapses easily
With simple movements, and completely without tools, the sled can easily be folded and transported in the trunk of a car. The sled takes no more space than an ordinary pram.
Storage
There’s plenty of space behind the seat in the Explorer sled for storing equipment for the trip. It’s also possible store lighter objects on the sled’s roof and to hang objects behind the sled.
In the children’s compartment on the sled there are also two pockets to store toys and drink bottles, for example.
Skis
Excellent glide
The skis have been produced using high-quality cold-resistant PE. This material has very little friction on snow and is the same material used by many ski manufacturers in their ski soles.
Curved design
Slightly curved design, providing a good contact surface on the snow. This principle works in the same way as the camber on skis.
Guideway
The soles of the skis are equipped with four guideways. These ensure that the sled follows the runner in a highly stable fashion. When using skis without a guideway, you may find that the sled skids, but this does not happen with our skis even when doing relatively tight turns and going downhill.
Twintip
In addition to a high tip at the front, our skis also have a tip at the back. This makes the skis easy to manoeuvre. For example, if you need to push the sled backwards, the skis will not bury themselves in the snow.
Individually movable
Nordic Cab skis are fitted with axles and are independent of one another. This allows them to move with the terrain and provides excellent cushioning against any unevenness.
Wide skis
The excellent width and bearing surface of the skis also mean that they work well off the ski track.
Separate attachment points for skis
Nordic Cab is equipped with separate attachment points for skis, helping balance the weight of the trailer. This means that you will not feel that you have gained an additional 10 kg of weight to carry when pulling the sled. This makes the trip as comfortable as possible also for the person pulling the sled.
